My Youth and Early 20’s….
I grew up in Southern England with my parents and a younger brother , and was educated privately. Upon graduation , I decided to enter the family engineering business as this is what I always wanted to do from about the age of 7 , spending evenings helping or rather hindering my father in the garage , instead of going to college as i really had no ambition to spend another 4 years in the education system. I worked my way up through the ranks from assembling valves on the shop floor , into sales and marketing and eventually was promoted to Export Sales Manager. This opportunity opened my eyes to different cultures , and I was extremely fortunate to visit some incredible places such as Northern Italy , Czech Republic , Australia , Egypt , and North America. It was the times I spent in the States which were always my fondest memories , so much so that it is where I now call home !
Moving to Paradise & Starting My Own Business…..
Ten years ago , fed up of paying extortionate UK tax rates , I decided to move to move to the small island of Antigua in the Caribbean. At the time , the island was tax-free (sadly no more) and crime was no existent (again sadly no more !). It was amazing as Antigua has 365 beaches – one for every day of the year – and the water is a crystal clear blue , 80 degree weather year round….what could be better right ??Well , not exactly , life on a small island can be very difficult year round , with little culture and after all I was now living in the Third World , although I felt I adapted fairly well to the situation. I became quite bored at times , and decided to start my own business. I bought a couple of villas and rented them out to tourists on short term vacation rentals.
Welcome To The Internet & The Home Business Industry…
Now that I had a business it was time to market my villas , so naturally I turned to to the Internet , because how was I going to market to the UK , European and North American markets otherwise…..so I bought a computer and subscribed to a local dial up internet service….DSL , Wireless Service wasn’t available in Antigua at the turn of the Millennium. Business grew slowly and built to such a level , I decided to purchase other properties.
Tying The Knot…..
I loved to play tennis , and would play 3 or 4 evenings per week….it was playing on one particular evening , I met a young lady from Scotland , Annie , who had just moved to Antigua working for a travel company , and within a year we were married !! 18 months months later our daughter , Caitlin was born.
Time To Head North….
The education system in Antigua is less than desirable and when the Government decided to re-introduce Income Tax and subsequently a VAT Sales Tax , in addition to an increase in crime , we decided it was time to move , so emigrated to the States in 2007.
A Rude Awakening…..My Introduction to MLM
Having seen the power of the Internet work with my brick and mortar business in Antigua , I thought it would be fairly easy to find an Internet based business that I could start-up and succeed with almost immediately….Boy , was i wrong !!! Selling a product in the MLM industry is nothing like a brick and mortar business , and I spent almost 18 months working extremely hard , but basically showing nothing in return. In addition , the stock market sunk 50% and nearly all of my savings had been eradicated , until one evening whilst searching online I found what I had been looking for…..it was an ad for a company that offered an education in online marketing…I immediately purchased the product and spent all night reading and reading….I couldn’t sleep….I was so excited….I had found the answer , and I knew it….Now I just had to put it into practice. For the next few months , I attended every training call and webinar possible with some of the best teachers in the internet marketing industry , and had become fairly successful in a relatively short period of time.
My Commitment To You…..
I had experienced first hand the enormous power the Internet has to offer with regards to online marketing , which is what I specialize in teaching to my clients , however the real success I experienced was due to my ongoing dedication to my personal growth and development as an individual. It is my utmost desire to help others develop their inner self to eradicate their fears and negativity , and help create a new positive mindset that will allow true freedom ; both personal and financial.
